Ask your books a question.

“What did I spend on fuel last quarter?” “Which customers owe me money?” “Show this year's profit and loss.” The assistant reads your ledger and answers. When it proposes a change, you see it in full and confirm before anything is written.

  • Plain-language questions over your ledger
  • Runs the same reports you can
  • Drafts records; you confirm
  • Ledger changes need explicit acknowledgement

What you get

Ask what you spent, who owes you, or for a P&L — and let the assistant draft records you confirm.

Answers from your data, not the internet

The assistant reads your own contacts, documents, payments, stock levels and reports through the same permissions as your user. It cannot see other companies.

Every write is previewed

Creating a contact, sending an invoice or posting a journal shows up as a proposal with the exact fields. Confirm or cancel; proposals expire if you walk away.

Extra care around the ledger

Anything that posts to the books is badged and asks you to acknowledge it explicitly before the Confirm button is enabled.

Conversations you can return to

Threads are saved per company so you can pick up last week's question or delete it for good.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open the Assistant

It is a module in the sidebar. Enable AI for your company in Settings once your workspace has access.

  2. 2

    Ask

Type a question or an instruction. The assistant shows which record or report it is reading as it works.

  3. 3

    Review any proposal

When the answer involves a change, you get a card with every field. Edit your request, cancel, or confirm.

  4. 4

    Carry on

Confirmed changes land in the same lists and ledger as manual entries, with the assistant recorded as the actor in the audit log.

Frequently asked

Can the assistant change my books without asking?

No. Every write — creating a contact, issuing an invoice, posting a journal, recording a payment — is proposed first and only happens after you confirm. Ledger-affecting proposals require a separate acknowledgement.

What can it read?

Accounts, contacts, documents, items, stock levels, journals, payments, VAT rates and every report you can run yourself: trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, ageing, tax summary, budget vs actuals and the TAK books.

Is the AI assistant available on every plan?

AI features are enabled per company. Once your workspace has AI access, any plan can switch the assistant on in Settings → Modules; AI usage is metered and shown on your usage page.

Is my financial data used to train models?

No. Requests are processed by a model running in the same AWS region as your data, and your data is not used for training.
